More About THe Project

Once we had acquired the land we stripped pack the ground to put in new drainage. Because of the make-up of the ground, we realised we had to have a piled foundation, this caused a delay due to the piling rigs availability at the time. Once the plied foundation and reinforcing had been completed, the beam and block floor were installed. We then built a conventional brick outer skin, a blockwork inner skin and a partial fill cavity insulation.

The roof was felted and tiled using a dry ridge system. The Internal partitions were constructed, a purpose-made staircase, then the walls and ceilings were plastered ready to receive architraves, skirtings and internal doors. A new kitchen was installed and complete electrics, plumbing and heating
throughout. The property was completed with a fresh paint finish both internally and externally.

Externally the gardens and steps were all made with Timber sleepers and
Indian sandstone paving. Plumb slate chipping and artificial grass were also installed to add to the aesthetic. We then installed a new close-boarded fence around the boundary of the property.
